About Steve Hamilton
Steve has been a Central Coast resident since 1986. Since then, he has been active in the community providing tax preparation services, receiving an Accounting Certificate from Santa Barbara Business College and earning a bachelor’s degree, graduating Magna Cum Laude, from the University of La Verne for Business Management.
Receiving a tax preparation certification from H&R Block, he worked for seven years providing accounting and tax preparer services eventually becoming a store manager.
In 1996 the State of California past the passed the Tax Preparers Act leading to the formation of the California Tax Education Council (CTEC) in 1997. Steve has been a member is good standing ever since.
Steve has worked as an accounting manager for various companies in the service, manufacturing, retail sectors, and the public sector for the San Luis Obispo Public Guardian’s Office. As a public conservator, responsibilities included management of finances, real property, personal assets, personal care of numerous appointed conservatees, and administration of various types of trusts.
